Everyone Counts 2025 is a campaign launching across Quebec, to gain an accurate “on the ground” picture of how many individuals are experiencing homelessness in the province. The findings will help guide the Health and Social Services Ministry to adapt resources and services to best meet the needs of this population.
For several days beginning on April 15, the MSSS will mobilize 1,200 pre-registered volunteers in Montreal to assist with the effort. This is a unique opportunity to offer support to people living in precarious situations.
Volunteers can contribute in different ways:
- Administer questionnaires in outdoor locations
- Administer questionnaires in shelters or other community centres
- Act as a team leader
- Act as a witness
- Provide support in deployment centres
Training will be provided to all participants. Note that experience is not required, but an asset. To register, visit everyonecounts2025.ca. For any questions about volunteering, please email
denombrement.ccsmtl@ssss.gouv.qc.ca. You’ll find
more information about the initiative in the PDF.
